Maarib

In 2013, I detailed my encounter with a Canadian Intelligence operative, who later figured in a plot to bomb a civilian airliner in the Gulf. What surprised me back then, was her connection to Yemen, and in particular, the the town of Maarib. It was almost as if she could call in reinforcements from that place, who would always have her back. The place was buzzing with Al-Qaida activity, and they would be parading around town in brand new jeeps. What was even more bewildering is that the Government of Yemen was somehow involved with these secretive Yemenite groups based in Maarib, who back then, were running Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).

Now, Maarib is a hotspot of Houthi power. Coincidence? Even more bewildering is how the capital of Yemen, Sanaa, was delivered to the Houthis completely intact, along with tonnes of Saudi military equipment. Some are claiming that millions of dollars were offered to figures in Yemeni forces to allow Sanaa to fall to the Houthis. The Houthis are now creating a new Hormuz for Saudi Arabia. We are told that faraway Iran is backing them (while at the same time, struggling for its own survival). The more logical explanation is that Maarib has always been a Phoenician spookopolis, and enjoys deep connections to Western powers.

Someone did an AI chart on the pre-Islamic Jewish rulers of Maarib. Apparently it was their capital long before Islam came and upsetted their big plans. And what does Maarib actually mean? It is a play on the Jewish religious term Maariv.

This doesn’t imply that all residents of the area are crypto-Jews. But you can comfortably assume that more than 10% are, especially the elites who dominate the finance and politics. And of course, the Bin Ladens. Real, local-Yemenite Muslim elite would never entangle their own citizenry in war and destruction, just so that they could one-up a neighboring Muslim power, Saudi Arabia. But the sad reality is that real Muslims no longer control the politics of that region. So here we are with a secretive Yemenite group that longs to turn all of the Arabian Peninsula into a moonscape, just because they believe their time has come. It will be painful to destroy their delusions. But there is no alternative. Once the cryptos are identified it may be necessary to repatriate them to the homeland, where they can conspire all they want, day in and day out.
